Ice Skating - By Tyrah

Learning Intention: We are learning to write a recount.
Success Criteria : I am successful when I write in paragraphs, use capital letters and full stops correctly,and in order.

During the holidays my family and I went to paradise ice skating. We went on a Saturday. It was really cool because there were lights.
First we went to pay to the counter to skate. When we payed,we went inside and it was crowded.

The lady gives out skates to only who comes there and skate.
Next we told our shoe sizes and she gave us blue shiny skates. Then we went on the ice and skated. I skated fast and my sisters did
too.

So,when we continued skating,my mum went to buy McDonald for us.

After my mum bought it,she told us to come in the car to eat.
She told us we are eating McDonald.
When after we ate we went inside,and we skated again for a bit.
Our mum told us we have to go home. I had fun going there.

I hope I can go there again soon.

Learning Intention: We are learning how prayer is meant to affect the way of people live.

Dear loving God,

Thank you for this day and for your creation. Please help the poor and sick and heal upon them lord. You are so powerful, you are kind and faithful and you always love and have peace. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross so you can forgive sins. I really appreciate it because I get to know you more. In Jesus's name..................Amen

A visit to the Stone Cottage-By Tyrah

Learning Intention-W.A.L.T.- write a recount.
Success Criteria-I am successful when I can write a recount about the Stone cottage by using adjectives.

Do you know how to use an old wooden fire blower?

Today Room 7 went to the Stone cottage. I saw a enormous wooden fire blower hanging in the kitchen. It is what you need back in 18 hundreds when the fire faints away. The fencibles use a blower because they didn't have to use their mouths but they use a blower instead. When you try to pull the end paddle together up and down, inside there is air and it blows where the fire place is when you put it towards it. It is very useful and big.

I also saw a big enormous saw that has 2 medium sized handles on both sides.It can chop down trees, wood, and more. It is very sharp like the teeth of the shark. It is made out of metal and metal is very hard. It can be very hard to break and it is very painful when you do it.

Learning Intention: We are learning to carry out the church mission of service to people.
Success Criteria: I am successful when I can tell the people in the parish carry out of the church's mission of serving needs of others as Jesus did.

1) People are serving others as Jesus did by donating can food with others.

2) People are serving others as Jesus did by visiting the sick.

3) People are serving others as Jesus did by cheering up the homeless and lonely.

4) People are serving others as Jesus did by feeding the hungry.

Learning Intention: We are learning the mission of Jesus.
Success Criteria: I am successful when I can tell the mission of Jesus.

1) Jesus' mission is the same as the mission of the church today.

2) The mission of Jesus was to bring about what God wants for all people.

3) The work Jesus did started the building of God's kingdom on earth.

4) God wants people to become holy by cooperating with Gods grace.

5) People become holy through God's grace which is God's presence and action in them.
