We show respect and love for the land-By Tyrah

Learning Intention:W.A.L.T-recognise what God has created is Tapu because God is Holy.

Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I can demonstrate love and respect for the Tapu of the Whenua.

We show respect and love and  for the land by picking up all the rubbish.

We take our rubbish home and put them in the rubbish bin to make our surrounding clean.

We look after the trees because the trees give us food,shelter,oxygen and medicine and many things.

We keep the sea and river clean because the river and sea gives us food and water  so we can drink and eat.

We look after the animals because it gives us clothing,bags and blanket.

Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I recognise Lent as a season for turning back to God by writing a prayer.
                                           
 Thank you God for giving me a family that protect me.We are  all sorry for what we have done wrong.Please forgive us dear God.Please hear us and make the builders finish our new classroom so we can move in to Room 6 by Term 2,

Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write my story in order and use capital letters and full stops correctly.

 Last Saturday down by the river,I was fishing with my friend, Emma.There was a loud scream. A little girl was in the cold water. She was shouting out loud for help.My friend Emma and I ran towards her.We pulled her out with a long branch. We got her out and we put the branch away where it was.

Emily's mum said ,"thank you". and they all went home.Emily's mum said "you're not allowed to fish by yourself again unless I say so". Then they all went to bed and sleep.
